FileLabs
Every file tool. One place.
FileLabs — compress, convert, and edit PDFs, images, video, and Office files. Some tools stay on this device. Others upload the file for that request and remove the server copy when the response finishes.
Choose a service
Each service is its own page. Open one to see its tools — nothing else loads until you need it.
FileLabs is one place for everyday file jobs: PDF, images, video, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel. Some tools keep the file on this device. Others upload it for that request and remove the server copy when the response finishes. Each page says which one you are using.
How FileLabs works
- Open a hub: PDF, Images, Videos, Word, PowerPoint, or Excel.
- Open the tool that matches the job. Each tool has its own page and URL.
- Read the badge and note above upload: Local means the file stays on this device; Cloud means it is uploaded for that request.
- Add your file, set options if they are shown, then process.
- Download the result—or a ZIP when the tool returns several files. About and Privacy use the same Local vs Cloud wording.
Common questions
Do my files leave my computer?
Only when the page says the file is uploaded, and only after you start processing. The server copy is removed when that response finishes, including when the job fails. Every other tool stays on this device.
Why do some tools upload the file?
Office layout, a smaller PDF, a searchable scan, and a few photo jobs need more than the browser can do well. Those pages say the file is uploaded before you start.
Is FileLabs free?
Yes. The tools are free to use. There is no account.
How do I find the right hub?
Start from PDF, Images, Videos, Word, PowerPoint, or Excel. Each hub lists tools for that format; every tool has its own URL.
How do I know Local vs Cloud before I process?
Open the tool page and read the badge and note above the upload step. Local means the file stays on this device. Cloud means the file is uploaded for that request and the server copy is removed when the response finishes. About and Privacy use the same wording.
