Crop Video keeps a rectangle of the picture and re-encodes the clip as MP4. It is Local under about 100 MB, the same cap as Trim Video and Compress Video. You set left, top, width, and height in pixels. This is not Crop Image, which cuts a still photo. It does not change playback speed; that is Change Video Speed. The sound is re-encoded with the picture.

How to crop a video
- Add one video under about 100 MB. It stays on this device.
- Set the left, top, width, and height. The box must sit inside the picture.
- Confirm the file is under the size cap. A larger file is refused, not uploaded.
- Crop. ffmpeg.wasm re-encodes that rectangle as H.264 MP4.
- Download the MP4 and check the picture. Trim time with Trim Video or change pace with Change Video Speed.

Is the video uploaded?
No, under about 100 MB. Larger files are not accepted on this page.
What changes in the file?
The picture is cut to the rectangle you set, then the video is encoded again. The duration stays the same unless you trim it on another page.
How is this different from cropping a photo?
Crop Image cuts a JPG, PNG, or WebP. This page cuts a video and returns an MP4.
Can I crop and speed up in one step?

Why did the crop fail?
The rectangle is outside the picture, or the width or height is under 2 pixels. Use the size shown after the file loads.
Does cropping change how long the video is?
No. The rectangle changes the picture. The duration stays the same. Use Trim Video to shorten it.
Is the sound kept?
Yes. The sound is re-encoded into the new MP4 along with the cropped picture.
