Resize PDF changes the page size of a PDF — A4, Letter, Legal, A3, or A5, portrait or landscape — and scales each page so the existing content fits inside. It is a Local tool, using pdf-lib on this device. It does not squeeze the file down to a smaller number of kilobytes; that job is Compress PDF, which uploads. It does not cut off a margin the way Crop PDF does. Text that was already selectable stays in the file. A password-locked PDF needs Unlock PDF first.
This tool is free to use.

How to resize PDF pages
- Add one PDF. It stays on this device.
- Choose A4, Letter, Legal, A3, or A5.
- Choose portrait or landscape.
- Resize. Each page is scaled to fit the new size and centered. Content is not sliced off.
- Download the PDF and check the page size in a viewer. To shrink bytes, use Compress PDF.
Resize PDF questions
Does the PDF get uploaded?
No. Page size is changed with pdf-lib on this device.
Is this the same as compress?
No. Resize changes the media box and scales the page to fit. Compress PDF uploads the file to make it smaller in bytes and does not set a paper size.
Will content be cut off?
No. The page is scaled uniformly so the whole page fits, then centered. Empty bands appear when the old shape does not match the new one. Crop PDF is the tool that trims edges.
Which sizes are available?
A4, Letter, Legal, A3, and A5, each in portrait or landscape.
What if the PDF asks for a password?
Open it with Unlock PDF when you know the password, then resize. This page does not guess a password.
Does resize shrink the file?
Not on purpose. The page size changes and the drawing is scaled. Image bytes are not recompressed. Compress PDF is the upload tool that targets a smaller file.
Can I resize more than one PDF?
No. Add one PDF, resize it, then start again for the next file.
